Bachelor of Business Administration Degree Plans of Study

Business Core: 48 hours
Supportive Requirements: 4 hours
Emphasis Requirements: 15-18 hours

Business Administration majors must select an emphasis from the areas of General Business, Finance, Management, or Marketing. Students must complete all Business Core and Supportive Requirements in addition to those in the emphasis.

Courses can be used to meet the requirements of only one emphasis. Students may choose two emphases if sufficient courses are available to meet the requirements of both.

Finance Emphasis: 15 hours

Two of the following courses:

General Business Emphasis: 18 hours

Complete 18 hours of business courses at the 30000 or 40000 level from at least two of the following areas: Accounting (ACCT), Economics (ECON), General Business (BADM, BINS, BUSI, BLAW), Finance (FINN), Hospitality (HOSP), Management (BINS, MGMT, OMGT), and Marketing (MKTG). ISYS 31003 - Advanced Microcomputer Applications can be used to meet this requirement. Upper level courses in the business core cannot be used to meet this requirement.
