The Business Technology program provides contemporary training required in business occupations. Courses include computer applications of word processing, spreadsheets, database concepts, presentation, and desktop publishing. Also included are accounting, administrative support procedures, and both written and oral professional communication skills.This certificate is offered in the online format to accommodate the needs of working students and to provide contemporary training required in business occupations.

Technical course required for this program may be transferable toward a limited number of associate and baccalaureate degrees. Contact advisor for information regarding transferability.
*Business Technology students may choose to continue their studies and earn an Associate of Applied Science in General Technology degree. There are two options for completion of this degree plan. Details of requirements for the Associate of Applied Science in General Technology degree are found in the Division of General Studies section of this catalog.
