Student Learning Outcomes

Students who earn the Bachelor of Arts in English should:

Demonstrate the ability to write fluently, concisely, and clearly.
Demonstrate the ability to read literary texts analytically and critically.
Demonstrate good research skills.
Demonstrate an understanding of literary history, including literary movements and the evolutions of the genres.
Demonstrate knowledge of the history and structure of the English language.
