NURS 47709 - Nursing Care of Adults and Clinical Practicum III 9 Credit(s) : 5 Lecture Hour(s) , Other Hours: 4 hours clinical Prerequisite(s): Full acceptance into the Prelicensure BSN Builds on knowledge and skills obtained in Nursing Care of Adults and Clinical Practicum II. Critical thinking, evidence-based nursing practice, and analysis of patient data to formulate, implement, and evaluate client outcome will be emphasized. Unique health and psychosocial needs of older adults will be addressed. Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) principles, including teamwork and collaboration, in providing care will be integrated. Clinical experiences provide students with opportunities to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care to diverse adult clients.
