NURS 2256V - Principles of Nursing Care III 12 Credit(s) : 8 Lecture Hour(s) , Other Hours: 4 credit hours clinical Prerequisite(s): NURS 10164 , NURS 10374 , and NURS 1246V and LPN licensure This courses places emphasis on the application of the nursing process when providing client-centered nursing care to clients across the lifespan with physiological needs of cardiovascular, trauma, renal, hepatobiliary, multisystem disorders, oxygenation, neurologic, and health promotion, restoration, and maintenance of disease processes. Concepts relevant to management of client care are included as well as preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
