TECH 17002 - Paper Machine Dry End Operations 2 Credit(s) Prerequisite(s): TECH 11104 Basic understanding of equipment used in the drying and finishing processes of papermaking including equipment function, capability, and design. The relationship between machine process variables and their effect on the physical properties of paper. The laboratory portion devoted to methods and techniques of performing physical tests on paper. Note: This course may be transferable toward a limited number of associate and baccalaureate degrees.
