Prerequisite(s): Possession of initial or standard teaching license in K-6, P-4, EC Pre-K; Admission to graduate studies.
This course focuses on understanding the purposes of formal and informal assessment, including ethical and legal considerations, and uses this information to choose developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate, valid, reliable tools and methods that are responsive to the characteristics of the young child with exceptionalities, family, and program.
