Basic coordinate geometry and coordinate systems commonly used in spatial information systems are covered. Systems included are Cartesian coordinates, State Plane coordinate systems, Latitude and Longitude, Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates, and the United States Public Land Survey System grid.
