Types of childcare programs and characteristics of each. Steps in planning a childcare program and design of a program plan for student’s specialty area, analysis of quality indicators of childcare programs. Lesson planning, instructional techniques, assessment techniques, facility management, scheduling, curriculum implementation, motivation of staff and children, involvement of parents, community resources, use of technology and evaluation of program components.
