Study of goals of guidance, direct/indirect guidance observation guidelines/interpretation, conflict between children, reasons for problem behavior, times of behavioral stress, techniques for dealing with misbehavior, and discipline alternatives. Guidelines for establishing and enforcing rules in the child care setting. Techniques to promote self-direction/control by the child.
