ELTE 21705 - Industrial Automation/Robotics Concepts 5 Credit(s) : 3 Lecture Hour(s) , 6 Laboratory Hour(s) Prerequisite(s): CPSI 11083 (Computer Fundamentals or higher level computer course), ELTE 21505 (Programmable Logic Controls); ELTE 11202 (Industrial Safety) Introduction to the basic operation of industrial robotics including principles and practice of programming industrial manipulators to include safety, power-up, shutdown, manual operation, homing, movement, and effector operation. Topics covered include system hardware components, coordinate systems, positional representation and control, pendant programming, and I/O interfacing.
