Concentrations in Instrumental, Piano, and Voice
Students must also complete all teacher licensure requirements of the Arkansas Department of Education. These requirements may be found in the School of Education section found elsewhere in this catalog. Major Requirements: 53 hours
(All music majors must earn a “C” or better in all music courses.) Note:
* MUSC 10480 must be taken each semester in residence for a total of 8 semesters. In addition to the core requirements students must complete the requirements for a concentration. Major Area Applied Lessons (PMUS): 14 hours
Major Area Ensemble: 7 hours
Instrumental Concentration Requirements: 10 hours
Piano Concentration Requirements: 11 hours
Voice Concentration Requirements: 10 hours
Professional Education Requirements: 0-36 hours
