Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting - Plan of Study  

Bachelor of Business Administration
Business Core: 45 hours
Supportive Requirements: 7 hours

The Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting degree requires 120 hours which includes the University’s General Education program, the Business Core, and major requirements. The Accounting degree is designed to align students with the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountants (CMA) exam requirements. There are no elective courses in this degree plan.

Students transferring from another university must complete at least twelve hours of the upper-level business credit hours required for the B.B.A. Accounting degree at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. In addition, students must meet the University residency requirements.

Note:


Student are allowed to sit for the CPA and CMA exams in Arkansas when they have earned a Bachelor’s Degree (120 hours). To be a licensed CPA in Arkansas, students must complete 150 hours and have one year of work experience. Please contact your advisor for more information.
