Prerequisite(s): ENGL 10103 and (SCWK 10043 or SCWK 21243 )
Provides foundational knowledge, values, and skills related to crisis intervention, including how to partner with and advocate for diverse clients experiencing crisis situations. Emphasis will be on assessment of crisis situations from within a bio-psycho-social, ecosystems approach, and empowerment through the strengths-based approach.
