NURS 48002 - Nursing Informatics

Prerequisite(s): Full acceptance into the Prelicensure BSN
This course introduces students to the science of nursing informatics and the integration of nursing, computer, and information sciences for the support of nursing practice. Students will explore the effective application of technology and its applications in all aspects of health care delivery, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), telehealth, personal reference management software, Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), and HIPAA issues.
