NURS 43303 - Capstone

Prerequisite(s): Full acceptance into the Prelicensure BSN
This course builds on the concepts and knowledge gained from previous nursing courses. Students apply theories and concepts associated with nursing leadership, nursing research, and management of care to develop a proposal for an evidence-based, quality improvement project in an acute health care setting of their choice. Students participate in precepted clinical activities in an acute health care setting of their choice which enhances their ability to solve complex issues in the clinical healthcare environment.
