Prerequisite(s): Admission to Master of Arts in Teaching program
Addresses the various characteristics and needs of learners including the impact of language, environmental and societal influence on student development and learning. Characteristics as well as academic and social/emotional needs of students with exceptional learning needs including gifted and ELL will be studied as well as the impact of exceptionalities on individuals, families, and society across life spans.
