Information required for examination of ethical and legal issues in the delivery of health care. Values clarification, ethical theory, ethical decision-making models, professional ethical standards, the legal environment, and regulation are explored. Emphasis is on ethical and legal obligations of health professionals in their roles as citizens, members of a profession, providers of care, and designers and managers of care.
