This course explores the role of nursing through the development of standards, values, and beliefs, inter/intra professional communication, technology, and nursing scope of practice. Emphasis is
placed on the processes guiding the nursing practice and the influence nursing has in the healthcare environment. In addition, this course helps students succeed in college by teaching skills and strategies that serve the student in all college classes, adapting to college life, and striving for success in life. Offered Fall and Spring.
