Prerequisite(s): Must be accepted to the Practical Nursing program. Must have successfully completed each preceding course with a “C” or better and progress with the cohort you enrolled in.
Corequisite(s): PNUR 24202
Working with nurse preceptor, student will apply management and leadership skills long-term care facilities by providing care to medical-surgical and pediatric patients, dispensing medication, performing as a team member.
Note: *CLINICAL ROTATIONS MAY BE SCHEDULED ON DAY, EVENING, OR NIGHT SHIFTS, EIGHT AND TWELVE HOUR ROTATIONS MAY BE SCHEDULED.
