PNUR 12301 - PN Nursing of Mother/Infant

Prerequisite(s): Must be accepted to the Practical Nursing program. Must have successfully completed each preceding course with a “C” or better and progress with the cohort you enrolled in.
Review anatomy/physiology of reproduction system, role of the nurse during normal labor/delivery. Appropriate interventions for the normal and complicated postpartum mother/family. Care of normal and special needs neonate.
Note: This course may be transferable toward a limited number of associate and baccalaureate degrees. Contact advisor for information regarding transferability.
