Prerequisite(s): Must be accepted to the Practical Nursing program. Must have successfully completed each preceding course with a “C” or better and progress with the cohort you enrolled in.
Emphasis on understanding ethical, legal, and social responsibilities to patients, family, and co-workers; delegation responsibilities, emergency preparedness, genetic research and cloning and other concerns. Awareness of legal and ethical responsibilities; development of employability skills; awareness of standards of nursing care.
