Mission Statement

The mission of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is to elevate the human spirit, equip students for the responsibilities of citizenship in a democratic republic, and prepare graduates for a wide range of career opportunities and leadership roles in a rapidly changing work environment. We accomplish this through our teaching, research, and service to the people of Southeast Arkansas and beyond.
